Friends and neighbors in Eastern Carver County,

If you’ve already voted, thank you. If not, here are some thoughts I’d like you to keep in mind as you consider your vote for Eastern Carver County School Board.

We’ve made a tremendous amount of progress over the last four years. I’m proud of the work that’s been done in our district over that time. None of this happened by accident.

This is the result of the hard work and dedication of lots of people. We have amazing teachers and staff who go above and beyond every day for our kids. We have strong leadership at the district and school level. We have parents who help with homework, volunteer for the PTO, and get their kids to and from extracurriculars. We have a community that cares about public education and stepped up to pass the 2021 operating levy with the strongest show of support in the state at 69%.

This is also the result of having the right folks in place on the school board. We’ve had to have some tough conversations and make some tough decisions over the last four years. I’ve been tested and I’ve shown you can trust me. You will know where I stand and why. I have demonstrated I will work with anyone to advance the needs of our students.

Thank you for the honor of representing you the last four years, and I humbly ask for your support and vote again on or before November 5.
